Grace Borsari is an accomplished executive whose diverse career spans the arts, technology, manufacturing, and community leadership. Originally from Bern, Switzerland, Grace Borsari established herself as a professional photographer before embarking on a new chapter that took her to Canada and later to Bellingham, Washington, where she has made her home.
As the former CEO and president of Altair Advanced Industries, Ms. Borsari led a company recognized for designing and manufacturing dependable standby power systems for the cable television and broadband communications industries. Altair contributed to advances in alternative and renewable energy and wireless communications, while earning a reputation for engineering excellence and exceptional product reliability. Guided by Ms. Borsari’s leadership, the company focused on meeting the evolving demands of broadband infrastructure with high-quality power solutions backed by decades of operational expertise.
Ms. Borsari’s impact extends beyond the corporate world. In 2019, the Whatcom Business Alliance honored her as Business Person of the Year and she also received the Lifetime Achievement award for her leadership and contributions to the local economy. She is also a member of the board of directors for the Innovative Resource Center, a nonprofit organization that helps emerging entrepreneurs transform ideas into successful businesses through mentorship and startup support.
